Some new changes are happening when it comes to shipping, and this could make a huge difference for many users. And with these great changes comes a reminder that TransTape offers discreet shipping! Discreet shipping isn't always a requirement, but for some people it is and it's important to talk about.
Hello, good people!
And the rest, I suppose.
We've certainly talked about shipping updates as well as discretion, but it has been a while and I think it's a great topic to review.
For those of you here for a short and sweet answer without reading through everything, we now have an international warehouse that will likely assist in lowering shipping prices for customers outside of the US!
Prior to this, the TransTape warehouse has been located in the US, which unfortunately raises shipping prices and tariffs for international customers. But this is no more!
TransTape is the ORIGINALÂ Body Transformation System!
And in case you didn't know, transformation is where the Trans in TransTape comes from! More often than not, it's assumed that TransTape is only for people who identify as transgender or gender queer. But that's just not the case at all! TransTape is an all-inclusive, compression free, gender affirming product that can be used in place of things like binders, bras, compression clothing, gaffes and harnesses.
Users are free to live, laugh, love to their hearts desire.
You can wear TransTape for multiple days at a time, the average is usually about 3-5, and you're able to sleep, shower, sweat and swim as your authentic self! You could do it all in the same day!
The name of the game is gender euphoria for all and TransTape is out here taking names.
TransTape is made from a blend of 95% cotton and 5% spandex. And this fantastic blend is accompanied by hypoallergenic, medical-grade, acrylic adhesive that is latex free and non-medicated. TransTape strives to provide the best experience for all users by using quality materials, but even so, this doesn't guarantee that it's the right product for you and your body and skin.
Now, what do I mean by that? What I mean is, everybody's body is different and our bodies react to materials, no matter how great the quality is, differently. This is totally normal and completely okay, by the way! It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you OR your body!
I know that's not the answer we ever want to hear when we're in search of new and life-changing gender affirming products, but it happens. And that doesn't mean you should give up your search for the right product for YOU, either!
But the easiest way for you to see if TransTape is right for you is with a test strip.
We're all doing the test strip, right?
RIGHT?!
We're not all using it and I know that for a fact, so let's talk about it!
If you didn't know, the test strip is this not-so-mythical thing that all the best people take the time to do before applying TransTape for the first time. And you're one of the best of the best, right? Yes, you sure are.
I would also recommend doing it if you haven't used TransTape for an extended period of time to check in with your body!
All you have to do is cut a piece of TransTape as small as 1" x 1" (2.5cm x 2.5cm) and apply it to a part of your body that you are able to easily monitor for 24 hours. Arm, wrist, thigh, chest, wherever it will be the easiest and most visible for you! You're monitoring for any redness, tenderness and overall discomfort. If you're experiencing any of this, remove the TransTape, you may be allergic.
Keeping the test strip small makes it easier to avoid overstretching and other common application accidents that could show similar signs to an adhesive reaction. But if you're looking for a better step by step breakdown, check out this other blog post I made a while back!
International shipping works a little bit different than domestic.
To see where you can purchase TransTape from a retailer (instead of from TransTape.life) outside the US right now, check out this page with authenticated wholesalers.
The reason international shipping ends up being a little bit different, is because every country has its own set of rules. Kinda lame, I know. This also means every country requires varying additional taxes and duties to be paid. The amount of taxes required by a country to be paid by a consumer ends up being determined by a few different factors.
Value-Added Tax (VAT), country of manufacture, product value, trade agreements and more.
Every country is different and these are factors that can't be controlled by TransTape, or any other retailer.
If it could be controlled, it would be. But alas, it cannot be.
However, don't lose hope!
Because like I mentioned in the beginning, TransTape now has an international warehouse which will help with international shipping costs! As of 2025, products should begin to ship out of the international warehouse for customers living outside of the US.Â
As far as international shipping goes, I think I've pretty much covered what needs to be said about it right now.
I mentioned that we were going to talk about the discreetness of TransTape, too.
And on this topic, there are a couple things I wanted to mention.
First and foremost, discreet shipping! I have to mention this, especially after talking about the new international warehouse.
For some, this is a super important factor when ordering something like TransTape. Or anything for that matter, it's actually no one else's business what you do! But for those that it matters for, TransTape ships in plain packaging without any large decals, and the name for the address is just "TT" instead of "TransTape."
This allows people to order their tape without worrying about everyone else in the household knowing what they're purchasing. Which leads me to my next mini-topic.
Why would someone want to hide purchasing TransTape?
Unfortunately, not everyone is in the perfect or ideal environment for freely expressing themselves, and because of this and other reasons, some people choose to live "stealth."
Living "stealth" generally means that you're not immediately, or ever, open with everyone you meet about your gender queerness. People do this for various reasons, some of which are simply personal preference and safety.
In this case and others like it, discrete shipping is incredible. But also, using TransTape tends to be discrete by nature of design. It's practically invisible! No straps or harnesses, different skin tones, and lasts for almost a week on average.
Discretion isn't something everyone needs, but for the people who do need it, TransTape has you covered.
I said it before but, feedback is always welcome!
Whether your experience is absolutely fantastic, or more on the less than satisfied side of things, please share your feedback.
TransTape is always seeking to improve, and the best way to improve is by listening to TransTape users!

But most importantly, don't forget to love yourself.
Until next time,
Stay awesome,

You are loved and it gets better.
Talk to you soon,

My name is Jamie and I'm a young (ish) transman born and raised in the Hudson Valley of New York state. I started my transition in May of 2017 and since then, I've made it my mission to live unapologetically as myself and spread awareness through my pursuit of happiness. I am the creator and writer of Spilling T blog, a proud affiliate of TransTape and when I'm not outside with the best dog ever or hanging out with my two cats, I make and sell my own beard care products through Buckaroo's Beard Care. I'm always looking for my next adventure and have been skydiving, road-tripping, hiking in the mountains and even served for a short time in the United States Marine Corps. My life has had its fair share of twists and turns and I hope to use those experiences to create helpful and relatable content that may help someone else navigate a difficult time in life.
