What Is TransTape?

As for the new set of eyes reading this, stick around and enjoy the ride!
Based out of Maine, and also now in Massachusetts, TransTape is the original body transformation system.
TransTape is meant for anyone looking to find their freedom!
TransTape can be used as an alternative to a traditional chest binder which can be restrictive and limit the user's comfort and mobility.
There's also an 8 hour timer that starts ticking as soon as you put on one of those traditional binders but with TransTape, you can safely wear it for up to 5 days.
5 Days.
Did you catch that?
FIVE DAYS!
TransTape can also be used for packing, tucking and in place of other self-affirming products!
You can shower, sleep, sweat and swim while wearing the tape. And even if you do all of those in the same day, the tape will still hold true!
I can personally attest to how durable this tape is! I do absolutely everything while wearing it and test its limits almost daily!
TransTape is made with a 95% cotton and 5% spandex blend and with non-medicated, latex free, medical grade acrylic adhesive. This adhesive is not meant to give out on you.
Which brings me to my next point!
Since this adhesive is built to last, it's extremely important to always perform a test strip and to always remove your tape with oil. I recommend using TransTape Removal Oil which is made with jojoba, but most other oils will do!
Do not use baby oil when removing TransTape.
Sunflower oil, olive oil, coconut oil and canola oil are all examples of acceptable oils you can use in place of the removal oil.
Now that we've had a quick refresher on TransTape and how wonderful it is, we can really dig into some of the changes going on!

One of the biggest accomplishments behind the scenes of TransTape is the processing time!
What's better than getting our tape faster?!
All the team brainstorm sessions have definitely paid off because the processing time has been cut down by two-thirds.
They also ship out our orders the next business day now!

Shipping and processing takes a lot more work than we may realize and that's what makes this such a huge deal.
As many of us know, recently a lot of online shops have been experiencing difficulties when it comes to prepping orders and getting them out the door.
And that's okay, these things happen.
TransTape, however, managed to come out on top and actually improve what a lot companies are struggling with right now.
That's a crazy-good accomplishment!

Packaging
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to put a roll of TransTape in a box? No? Oh. Well, it's in a box now!
Whoa.
Look. At that. BOX.
Look at it, it looks so good!
Not only are these boxes sleek, shiny, stylish and covered in photos of the coolest people, they help protect our tape while in transit!
If you've ever had something fragile delivered by FedEx, you know what I mean when I say it helps protect the tape.
Plus this cargo is precious, it totally makes sense for it to come in a box!
Every roll comes wrapped in minimal plastic on top of being carefully placed in a tasteful, well-designed box.
If you've ever had your products arrive a little disheveled, that's in the past now! TransTape has taken additional steps to ensure that your precious package arrives looking the same as it did before the mail-person got it.
Jojoba Removal Oil
Jojoba has been used for years to treat minor skin injuries as well as treat conditions like eczema, acne and psoriasis.
Back in the old days, like a month ago, TransTape used sunflower oil mixed with essential oils.
The old blend was very effective when it came to removing tape but overall, jojoba is much better for removal and our skin health!
The Original Jojoba Company is proud to produce all-natural, high quality jojoba for all of its customers, which now includes TransTape!
And me.
Since these farmers only press their jojoba seeds once, you can be sure that your product is top shelf worthy. Other places tend to over-press and over-process their seeds and when that happens, you lose a lot of the great benefits.
So not only will you also use less new oil than the old, you're going to be reaping outstanding benefits for your skin too.
Jojoba is anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial, so any sensitive skin you have from removing your tape will be in good hands. This oil helps your skin bounce back and supports all-around healthy skin and improves elasticity over time.
Personally, I love jojoba and use it for the hair on my head and face as well. It's not some gimmick you read in a blog one time, it really works!
Nipple Guards
Do you remember having to cut your own nipple guards? I do. I actually used to use band-aids sometimes too.
If you didn't know, TransTape has nipple guards!
Nipple guards are also super comfortable and easy on the skin. Some people actually use them on their off days!
Worrying about using up more tape to make your own nipple guards is a thing of the past now!
It's really not so bad or difficult making your own, some users actually prefer it!
But for me, the easier the better.
I love being able to just slap something on without the extra effort of cutting out more pieces.
I'm a little lazy, I know.
Well, if you knew about the nipple guards already, one 10-pack also comes in every box now!
So not only do we not have to cut our own guards anymore, we don't even have to click on another page to order them!

Skin Tones and Tape Quality
Have you ever struggled finding the best tape to match your skin tone in the past? Or been worried about seeing tape lines underneath a tighter shirt? This last one is for you!
TransTape now offers new, and improved, skin tones!
These tones are much more reflective of actual skin tones.
Having a selection of realistic skin tones allows users to feel more free and at home in their bodies.
And that's what TransTape is all about!
If you've ever been stuck between two tones before this upgrade, I highly recommend checking out the new ones!
I personally really enjoyed how well the new light beige matched up to my skin for packing.
There's also this super cool new inked pattern!
The tape improvements don't stop at new tones and designs though, it's also thinner and more discreet!
TransTape is still made with high-quality adhesive, but it has changed a little bit so be sure to do a test stripfirst!

Even if you've been using TransTape for years, it's important to test out the new tape to make sure it's safe for your skin. It may work for a million other people but make sure you look out for your body and do a test strip.
Better safe than sorry, believe me!
I used the new tape for the first time not too long ago and I gotta say it really is better than before. I was a little skeptical of the change at first, but TransTape has never let me down or dropped the ball.
Change doesn't always have to be bad or scary, TransTape has your back!
The original tape already felt like an extension of my body so the bar of expectation was set pretty high for this new stuff.
But it really feels like a second skin now!
After wearing the tape around for a bit, I've noticed that on top of the tape being thinner and more comfortable, it holds up better too!
It's still recommended to wear TransTape for no longer than 5 days.
Even though I was 5 days into wearing it, there seemed to be a lot less peeling at the edges.
It almost looked just as good as it did the first day!
A friend of mine actually commented on how the tape looked asking if I just re-applied and they were shocked to learn that it was the same application that they saw days ago.
What Else Could We Even Ask For?!
Without an awesome team and the wonderful support of everyone, major feats and upgrades like these wouldn't be possible.
If I haven't made it very clear by now, the TransTape team works around the clock to give us the absolute best experience possible. Every detail, from website to delivery, is well thought out and finished with the customer in mind and that's a lot more than some other companies can say.
They continue to look for every possible way to improve and it shows through all of their hard-work and dedication.

You know what, on second thought, maybe let's finish up this year first before we go thinking about 2023.
Without TransTape, I think my life, and maybe even some of your lives, would feel a lot less exciting and complete. I don't think I would've ever met the authentic me.
