BLOG

Hello again gorgeous people! Lifting enthusiasts ;) It’s me Danielle, your self-love and kindness gf, and so in this article I’ll tell you about treating yourself nice, and the process of untaping your boobs.

After a wild night of TransTape shenanigans, in this case lifting, I know you wanna unwind and relax and eventually you’ll want the tape off your body. For lifting, and with anything else the adhesive doesn’t pull and is soft on sensitive skin too which is extra good. But don’t let that fool you, this bb holds on to skin like a bulldog, please dont pull off the tape without using natural oil. You’re gonna hurt your boobs that way, and I know you don't wanna do that! I just recently got mine too, thanks -  so I try to take care of them, and the rest of me too. When removing tape I like to take my time, and make it an almost ritual experience. As with anything else, honor your body, mind and soul.

Lay on a towel in-case the oil spills off of you, I really recommend the TransTape Jojoba Removal Oil. It smells great to me, is a natural product and just works wonders for your skin anyway. When I put on the oil, I think positively about my body. As I caress my skin, I love myself, and see myself with all my flaws in a fond light. In an almost ritual, meditative sort of way. Smell is something we as people associate highly with memory, so each time I use it, I am subtly reminded that I am worth it all.

Slowly pour the removal oil you use into a cupped hand and then rub it into the tape and skin.. Put it into your hands and rub your hands together or wait a few seconds for the oil to warm up to your body. Make sure you are getting full saturation of the TransTape product, especially the edges. Feel free to pour it directly onto your skin, but it’s cold and your hands will need to be washed afterwards anyways. You need a pretty liberal amount of oil to saturate the tape, but it feels really nice. It’s even more fun if you can rope your partner into doing it for you. If uhh…you know what I mean. Like, make it kinky if you want to. Make it a Jojoba-zarre Adventure. Ok, sorry I had to make the reference, cuz the show itself is like… super gay and I love it. But seriously, that’s my favorite part of removing the tape, is letting my girlfriend take it off of me, and extra points if I get a breast massage.

Removing the tape takes a little patience I find, but soon it will be off and you can get back to activities. What’s happening is that the oil dissolves the adhesive. So it takes a few minutes. But as I said basically, time flies when you're having fun. I often close my eyes, and remind myself that I am loved. That I am always worthy of the person I am working to become. That I can be whatever I dream, and more. What an incredible, somewhat unique thing - each of us as an individual. Last year, in 2024 my battlecry was “Be Kind to Her,” and I think it’s something I’ve really worked at.

And then once the adhesive has been dissolved by the oil, the TransTape product simply peels away like it wasn’t there at all. As for the oil, I’m glad you thought ahead and brought a towel. Simply wipe up any excessive oil you may still have on you and enjoy the rest of your evening ritual. Or heck, take a shower if you’d prefer. Ooooh, a nice steamy bath though. I think I’ll get in the tub tonight, now.

This is where I recommend getting yourself a TransTape Starter Kit initially, because it comes with a roll of the awesome tape of your choice, Jojoba removing oil, a handful of nipple guards, and if there’s any irritation or anything you can use the salve. But the tape is really gentle if used correctly, my skin is actually very sensitive to adhesive and I’ll break out if it’s the wrong type of adhesive. So yeah, with the TransTape Starter Kit, not only does it make me look good, but I feel great as well. Love yourself. If you’re finding it difficult, just practice! I can only encourage.

Self Love & Kindness,
