The names TransTape and Transtape are federally registered trademarks of TranzTape, LLC. These marks represent our brand, products, and reputation in the marketplace. All rights are reserved.
Use of these trademarks is subject to the guidelines and restrictions outlined below.
Appropriate Use
You may refer to TransTape® products accurately when:
-
Reviewing or describing our products specifically
-
Linking to our official website or social media
-
Providing instructions or testimonials using our brand of tape
You must include the ® symbol upon the first reference in written material:
TransTape® or Transtape®
Inappropriate Use
You may not:
-
Use “TransTape” or “Transtape” to refer to binding tape in general
-
Use our name to describe generic chest tape, non-TranzTape brands, or home-made solutions
-
Alter, stylize, abbreviate, or combine our trademarks with other words (e.g., “trans-taping,” “transtape-style”)
Such uses may mislead consumers and constitute trademark infringement.
Why It Matters
Referring to all binding tape products as “TransTape” is misleading and legally inaccurate. While we pioneered body-safe, compression-free binding solutions under the TransTape® brand, not all binding tapes are TransTape®.
Using our brand name to describe unrelated or competing products:
-
Creates confusion in the market
-
Dilutes our trademark rights
-
Harms customers who may believe they are receiving genuine TranzTape, LLC products
To maintain product clarity, brand trust, and consumer safety, please refer to all binding tape products by their correct brand names or by the general term BINDING TAPE.
Request to Use the Trademark
If you wish to use the TransTape® or Transtape® name for any of the following:
-
Commercial reselling
-
Educational or promotional materials
-
Media, articles, or packaging
Please contact helpdesk@transtape.life to request written permission.
Enforcement
TranzTape, LLC actively monitors the unauthorized use of its trademarks. Improper or misleading usage may result in a cease and desist letter and/or legal action under U.S. trademark law.
